Genesis has unveiled the 2026 GV70, an updated version of its luxury midsize SUV, featuring enhanced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) performance, restructured option packages, and new design details aimed at improving overall refinement.
#Improved Ride Comfort and Quietness
The 2026 GV70 reflects customer feedback with a focus on enhancing cabin comfort and driving refinement. Genesis added undercover sound insulation to reduce road and wind noise, while the 2.5 Turbo models gain a new engine support damper designed to minimize vibration from the powertrain, further improving NVH characteristics.
#Expanded Customization and Package Updates
To better match customer preferences, Genesis restructured several popular option bundles. The Sport Package for the 2.5 Turbo model now offers the electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD) as an optional feature rather than standard, giving customers more flexibility in configuration. The package also receives new black exterior moldings, consistent with the brand’s Genesis Black Line styling.
Inside, Genesis expanded the use of genuine leather on “Standard Design” seats and added a new Obsidian Black/Vanilla Beige two-tone interior with gray stitching for the “Sport Design Selection II” trim, enhancing the vehicle’s premium appeal.
The Popular Package I now includes the Head-Up Display and Driving Assistance Package I, while Popular Package II combines Popular Package I with Driving Assistance Package II, Second-Row Comfort Package, and Built-in Cam Package.
Genesis also optimized other configurations — removing the UV sterilization storage from the Convenience Package but adding luggage accessories and a 220V rear outlet to the Second-Row Comfort Package.
#New Color and Modern Touches
The refreshed GV70 introduces a new exterior color called Bering Blue, emphasizing the model’s luxurious yet sporty character. The rear design now features standalone GENESIS lettering, creating a cleaner and more modern appearance.
Additionally, Genesis is offering a new Floating Wheel Cap accessory that keeps the emblem horizontally aligned while driving, adding a subtle touch of sophistication to the SUV’s side profile.

Gasoline 2.5 Turbo: ₩53.18 million
Gasoline 3.5 Turbo: ₩58.60 million
(Prices based on 2WD models and 3.5% individual consumption tax)
To celebrate the model’s launch, Genesis will hold a special customer event until October 27, offering prizes such as tickets to the “Klaus Mäkelä & Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra” performance (10 winners) and ₩500,000 gift cards for LG Arts Center Seoul (10 winners).
